Deepika Padukone, who is expecting, looked stunning as she arrived at the pre-release event for Kalki 2898 AD in Mumbai. A video from the event went viral, showing lead actor Prabhas and veteran star Amitabh Bachchan rushing to help Deepika off the stage. In the video, Prabhas caught her hand first, leading Big B to tease him for beating him to it, resulting in a hilarious moment.
Upon a brief introduction of her character at the event, Deepika confidently took to the stage. She emphatically shared her insights about working with director Nag Ashwin, portraying it as an invaluable learning experience. “It has truly been an extraordinary journey. As Mr. Bachchan rightly pointed out, it’s a completely new world. We underwent various phases of unraveling the essence of this movie, and I believe that the brilliance residing in Nagi’s mind is now fully manifested for all to witness. We encountered this revelation along the way, and it has profoundly impacted me both personally and professionally,” Deepika affirmed.
After her speech, as Deepika was about to leave the stage, both Prabhas and Amitabh hurried to assist her. However, Prabhas took the initiative, holding Deepika’s hand and guiding her off the stage. Amitabh, who was right behind Prabhas, playfully reprimanded him for this, sparking laughter among the actors and the audience.
