Production

After his blockbuster directorial debut with ‘Mufti’, Narthan initially wrote a script for Yash, sparking rumors of a collaboration. Shiva Rajkumar, having evaluated various scripts, chose to move forward with ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’. The project was gaining momentum and excitement among fans and the film community. However, in late 2023, new rumors surfaced suggesting that the script initially pitched to Ram Charan had been reassigned to Vijay Deverakonda. This unexpected shift raised questions about the film’s direction and cast, leaving fans curious about the future of Narthan’s ambitious project. Casting

Filming

‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ officially began production on May 26, 2023, with shooting kicking off on August 2, 2023. The filming took place over multiple schedules across various locations, including Devanahalli, Mysore, Bellary, and Penugonda. By October 2023, while promoting his film ‘Ghost’, Shivarajkumar revealed that about 60 days of shooting were still left.

During this period, images of Shivarajkumar’s new look from the set were leaked, heightening excitement among fans and audiences alike. As the team approached the announcement of the film’s release date, they shared that approximately 70% of the shooting had been completed, with plans to wrap up the remaining scenes quickly.

Following the completion of filming, the focus would shift to post-production, where the final touches would be added to bring the film to life. With a dedicated cast and crew working diligently, ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ is set to deliver a captivating cinematic experience.
