Bad Newz Review

“Bad Newz” is a rare and unique comedy that explores the concept of heteropaternal superfecundation. The story takes a surprising turn when Saloni Bagga discovers she is pregnant with twins, each fathered by different men: Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Pannu. This twist of fate sparks a chaotic rivalry between the two men as they compete for Saloni’s love and the affection of their children, leading to humorous and tumultuous situations.

Storyline

Saloni Bagga, a vibrant and independent woman in her mid-thirties, has always approached life with a sense of adventure. She finds herself romantically involved with both Akhil Chadha, a charming but reckless entrepreneur, and Gurbir Pannu, a reserved and methodical architect. Unbeknownst to Saloni, her relationships with Akhil and Gurbir intertwine in an unexpected and comedic manner.

The revelation of Saloni’s twin pregnancy, with each child having a different father, initially bewilders everyone involved. Akhil and Gurbir, unaware of each other’s involvement with Saloni, are thrown into disbelief and confusion. Their contrasting personalities and approaches to life set the stage for a humorous clash as they navigate impending fatherhood and romantic rivalry.

Akhil Chadha enthusiastically embraces the news with his spontaneous and adventurous spirit. Fathering children with Saloni becomes a thrilling adventure for him, contrasting sharply with Gurbir Pannu’s cautious optimism. As an architect known for meticulous planning, Gurbir grapples with the unexpected twist in his orderly life, from logistics to growing affection for a family with Saloni.

As the pregnancy progresses, the rivalry between Akhil and Gurbir intensifies. Their interactions with Saloni swing between attempts to win her favor and humorous misunderstandings fueled by their competitive nature. Akhil’s grand gestures often backfire, providing comedic relief, while Gurbir’s thoughtful gestures and practical considerations add depth to the narrative.

The dynamics are further complicated by their supportive circle of friends and family. Saloni’s best friend, Natasha, offers emotional support and comedic commentary on the absurdity of their situation. Her interactions with Akhil and Gurbir add humor and camaraderie.

As the due date approaches, tensions between Akhil and Gurbir reach a comedic peak. Their efforts to prepare for fatherhood and prove themselves to Saloni lead to hilarious misadventures and unexpected revelations. “Bad Newz” weaves comedy, romance, and familial bonds in a story celebrating life’s unpredictability and love.

In conclusion, “Bad Newz” offers an entertaining take on unconventional family dynamics and the humorous challenges of impending parenthood. With engaging characters and witty dialogue, the film explores love, rivalry, and the joy of life’s surprises.
